A  little about us 

Beauty Box - Kent | Training Academy & Retail was created by Sarah Lowe & Katie Elliott in 2020.

Little bit about Sarah - I started doing nails 16 years ago as a hobby while I had young children. I then did a lash course in 2012 and that's when my business took off. Lashes is my number one passion. since then I've taken many courses in lashes to perfect my lashing. 2017 I started working in Whitstable and after a year decided I needed to open my own shop. Which opened in 2019. Lowes Lashes is growing and expanding to accommodate all the latest treatments covering all areas of beauty.

Little bit about Katie - I have always been interested in the beauty industry, So when growing up I knew that I  wanted to go down this path. After completing my beauty therapy course at college for 2 years, I then went on to work for Benefit Cosmetics as a makeup and brow artist. After leaving benefit cosmetics  I went into Dental Nursing to further my experience. After completing my diploma in dental nursing and becoming a registered dental nurse I decided to working in Lowes Lashes. At first I have focused on brows and lashes and then furthered my experience in the beauty industry and following my passion into the aesthetic dermal filler and other injectable treatments.

In February 2019 Sarah Opened her first salon Lowes Lashes, while preparing to open the salon Katie got in contact with Sarah about a position to be self employed and to work from her salon on a Saturday.  After a short while Katie picked up a few more days and expanded her business with the help and guidance of Sarah's experience. In March 2020 Katie left her full time dental nursing job and to the step into full time self employed within Lowes Lashes, Sarah temporally left shortly after to go on maternity leave. 

During the 6 months we had to close the salon due to national lock down within the COVID-19 pandemic Sarah & Katie decided after several conversations they would  join together and start a side company to their already successful Beauty Business's for Training & Retail products. 

Both Sarah & Katie have had to under go a lot of training and late nights to complete their Training qualifications ( Level 3  in Training & Education)

After trialling and testing multiple products we have managed to the  best quality products to launch within our brand. We haven't been able to realise everything we wish to stock due to only just starting out but hopefully as we are able to grow up business we will be bringing out more exciting and requested products. 

​

Our training academy courses are accredited and insurable and packed full of everything you need to know to make a sucess out of your business whether your just starting out or your adding more strings to your bow. We have made sure we have added in all the key knowledge and a few extra bits we have picked up on our experience through the industry.
